Get a head start on your first job and complete your high school volunteer hours!
We believe that work is important education outside of school. It allows confidence to be built with all of our kids, who will be our future workforce.
As parents, we invest a lot of ourselves into our kids' education but what about their safety at work?
At Safe To Work we are excited to offer this unique program for young workers that helps to prepare teens for work. We help your kids build a more attractive first resume and provide them with health and safety training that all employers require under law. This is their head start!
Getting your first job may not be easy. Statistically, landing a job is at least twice as hard as it is later on in life. According to Statistics Canada (Labour Force Survey 2018), 15 to 24 year old's have the highest rate of unemployment than any other age group.
You want to get a job but how do you build your resume with no history of experience or training?
With Safe To Work, you win big points by completing areas of training and volunteer work that are required under law and for your high school diploma. With our 5-day program, you and your resume will stand out!!
If you are between the ages of 15 and 24 we have a great program for you! Pre-registration is open for Newmarket, Aurora, Richmond Hill and North York locations.
If you're looking to start your summer job search, we can help!
